Michelle Briseno
Co-founder / Owner
Master Esthetician/Phlebotomist/IV Certified/Laser Technician
Michelle is from beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Her journey into beauty and wellness started at an early age. Raised on fresh fruit and vegetables from her family’s garden her Mother taught her the importance of nutrition and how it impacts our health and skin. In middle school she would experiment with facials masks and makeup with friends and family to help them look and feel their best.
After marrying and being blessed with two amazing children, she decided to go back to school to pursue her passion for beauty. She graduated with her Master Esthetician License in 2007 from the Skin Institute of St. George, Utah. Michelle has worked with Celebrity Clients at top destination Medical Spas. She believes in bringing high standards and consistent results by using clean beauty products.
She is always keeping up to date with continuing education and building trusting relationships with all of her clients.
Rebecca Heffter
Co-owner
BSN. RN, Nurse Injector
Rebecca is a true North Idaho born and raised native. She graduated with her Associate Degree in Nursing through North Idaho College in 2010. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science of Nursing degree through Boise State University in 2013. Rebecca is currently attending Graduate school through Maryville University in pursuit of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Rebecca’s career as a nurse has a wide range of experience: Gerontology, Orthopedics, Neurology, Medical-Surgical and Endoscopy. Rebecca’s passion for aesthetics and non-invasive cosmetic procedures is what led her to take advanced injector training through The National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was trained and certified under some of the most accomplished and skilled doctor and nurse injectors in the country.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and her Golden doodles named Georgia and Betty. Her family enjoys all things outdoors: Camping, boating, hunting and fishing.
Having lived in a 7 mile radius her entire life, she is honored to be serving as a nurse in the very community she was born and raised in. Rebecca’s passion for health and wellness is what fuels her desire for helping others to feel well and be well. She truly believes that ageing gracefully and feeling beautiful is the icing on the health and wellness cake.

Natalie Overturf

Natalie Overturf is the co-founder of Beauty at the Lake, a med spa built on a simple but powerful belief: when women feel confident in their own skin, they show up differently in every area of life.
What began in 2019 as her second job and passion has grown into a thriving sanctuary of selfcare, powered by a team of skilled, compassionate professionals and anchored by Natalie’s leadership and vision. As a mortgage industry executive by trade, Natalie brings sharp business acumen to the beauty world, but it’s her heart for helping women flourish that sets Beauty at the Lake apart.
Alongside her incredible partners Michelle Briseno and Rebecca Heffter, the heart and soul of the spa, Natalie is on a mission to empower women to feel beautiful, bold, and seen. She believes true beauty is holistic, and that outer confidence should always reflect inner well-being.
With a focus on results-driven treatments, personalized care, and a warm, welcoming vibe, Beauty at the Lake isn’t just a spa. It’s a community.
Tawnya O’Keefe
Nurse Practitioner, Medical Director
After graduating summa cum laude with her Masters in Nursing in 1999 from the University of North Dakota, Tawnya worked as a nurse practitioner in many surgical and medical subspecialties; including internal medicine, neurosurgery, nephrology and hospital medicine. Through her experience in these areas she developed a passion for identifying root causes of dysfunction and disease prevention. This catapulted her pursuit of a Masters degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine at the University of Western States. She currently practices at Movita Health and Functional Medicine where she specializes in helping clients to improve their health and find medical freedom through focusing on wellness and hormone optimization.
Tawnya lives in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with her fiance and four French Bulldogs. She has 3 grown children and 4 beautiful granddaughters that she enjoys spending her free time with. She also enjoys the outdoors, whether it be going for a hike or sitting by the lake. She is a fitness enthusiast and has done Ironman events, marathons, and bodybuilding. She believes that movement is essential for life and vitality.

Jessica Brown
Nurse Practitioner
Jessica has been a Nurse Practitioner for 10 years and a registered nurse since 2010. She has a diverse background in gynecology, first-assisting in surgeries including robotics as well as experience is aesthetics.
She was trained and certified in injectable aesthetics in Beverly Hills in 2015, and is now a highly regarded NP in Coeur d’Alene. She plans to bring her experience and care to Beauty at the Lake. She is married with two children and two dogs and is very involved in her local church.
Rynell Eckstein
Licensed Massage Therapist
Rynell is a local here in North Idaho. She enjoys spending her time outdoors with her friends and family.
A licensed massage therapist, Rynell loves the natural healing of the body. With her compassionate and holistic approach to massage, she will create a unique and soothing treatment. As an LMT she uses a variety of techniques including deep tissue, swedish relaxation, lymphatic drainage, cupping, and gua sha. The body has always intrigued her and she loves helping people feel better in their bodies.

Brianna Samsel
Esthetician/Laser Technician
Born and raised in Sandpoint, Brianna often visited Coeur d’Alene and drawn to it’s charm and vibrancy, relocated to our beautiful city upon graduating high school. As a former client and apprentice of our own Master Esthetician, Michelle Briseno, Brianna realized her passion for beauty and vitality of the skin, quickly immersing herself in the world of skin care and becoming a Licensed Esthetician herself.
Since she has personally overcome the difficulties of acneic skin, she brings her unique experience and expertise to Beauty At The Lake, specializing in acne care and problematic skin conditions to her new and already loyal clientele.
Brianna delights in doting upon whomever is in her treatment room, supporting their journey to total skin wellness and on a path to loving themselves and the beauty that they carry within.
